Time to Relax For Parents Also

De-Stress Parenting Relaxation


Once one enters the world of parenthood, the new parent often finds that he or she begins to care for their children before themselves.  The mother who hopes to nurture her child and the father who supports both seek to raise their children well.  If you are a parent, you know what I’m talking about. 

I especially remember those days when I, the enthusiastic mother, would be the first person to start the day’s activities.  My routine would be to get everyone up on time, make sure that the children were fed nutritious food to begin each day and you know the rest. 

When the children are grown, ‘full-time mother is’ no longer at the top of the priority list. However, it is unceasing that mothers and fathers continue what is expected of them: taking the children to school, getting them to the doctor for regular check-ups, and to extra curriculum activities.  

Me Time

Despite the busyness of caring for children, it is necessary for parents to set out time to relax.   Mothers and Fathers should stop and take care of themselves and enjoy the blessings in their lives.   

When was the last time YOU had some ‘Me Time’?  Take a deep breath, breathe in and breathe out, relax for an hour or two. Treat yourself to something SPECIAL.
